Capabilities

Our press room is supported by our in house tool room for designing, building and maintaining our own compound, blanking, progressive, deep draw, multiple operation and secondary dies and fixtures in tool steel and carbide.
This is a typical Paramount progressive die. The die produces a nickel drawn cup used in cathode ray tubes.
This tool was designed and built by Paramount and produces 500,000 precision phosphor bronze fiber optic supports per release.
Our pressroom has 18 presses ranging in tonnage from 1 to 150 tons with all the peripheral feeding, straightening, handling and inspection support equipment. Our thickness capabilities range from .0009 to .125 Thick. We can deep draw enclosures up to 1″ deep. Production speeds run from single stroke to 1,000 pieces per minute.

Paramount offers, secondary press work, machining, sub-assembly and deburring. We work with ferrous and non-ferrous materials including the following:


Aluminum, Steel, Brass, Copper, Phos.Bronze, BeCu, Plastics, Teflon, Crane glass, Precious Metals, Stainless, High Temperature Alloys including Nickel, Kovar, Monel, Moly, Inconel, Etc.


We also have sources for plating, heat treating, laser cutting, water jet, grinding and welding.
